To be eligible for Express Entry under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the applicant must have worked for a minimum of 1 year in the past 3 years in a NOC O A or B job.
The job must be full – time, i.e., a minimum of 30 hours per week or an equal amounts part – time.
You can also work in a different NOC code as long as the NOC code to meet the one-year job requirement as long as the jobs are in a NOC O A or B position and within the last 3 years.
There is also a minimum language ability for CEC program.
You must score CLB 7 in all 4 modules for a NOC O or A position
You must score CLB 5 in all 4 modules for a NOC B position.
